Statistics Canada is a federal agency that collects and analyzes statistics on Canadians for Canadians. At the main Web page, click on “Canadian Statistics” which are updated on a regular basis. You can obtain information on many aspects of the Canadian economy, for example, primary industries and other industry sectors, current economic conditions, and the latest economic indicators.

The Fair Trade Federation (FTF) is an American organization that works to promote international fair trade and to educate consumers about fair trade issues. FTF members include wholesalers, retailers, and producers who are committed to providing fair wages and good employment opportunities to economically disadvantaged artisans and farmers worldwide.

The Bank of Canada Currency Converter has both current and historical exchange conversions for most of the world's currencies. The Bank of Canada is Canada’s central bank and has a mandate from the federal government to promote the economic and financial welfare of Canadians.

The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) helps promote tourism to and within Canada. The CTC is a Crown corporation which works in partnership with Canadian tourism businesses to plan, direct, manage and implement programs in support of the tourism industry.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is a department of the federal government. CIC is responsible for admitting immigrants, foreign students, visitors and temporary workers to Canada; and for resettling, protecting, and providing a safe haven for refugees.

Industry Canada is a federal department that is focused on helping Canadians build a stronger economy. The department helps Canadians by offering information on business growth, job growth and opportunities, sound investments, international trade, and innovative business practices.

The Canadian Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) offers Canadians up-to-date information on countries and regions in terms of foreign policy, international trade, and travel assistance. The department also has programs on Canadian culture, education, and youth exchanges and initiatives.

The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) is a not-for-profit Canadian organization. The Forum was founded by members of industry and government to develop international trade training programs and services for Canadians.
